Looking back

I used to watch a programme at the NTV (our national tv channel) when I was a kid about a decade ago. It was called 'Young Asia Television' . And, they used to end the programme with a music video every week (It was a weekly programme).

At that time, I was a kid so, I didn't know much about music but I used to enjoy the videos they used to play. They used to play 'Memory Remains' by Metallica and music videos of Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Shania Twain, Bryan Adams and other various artists.

The video that I remembered the most was 'Memory Remains' and I found out that it was metallica's video just a few years ago. Because, I couldn't remember the song but the video was always reeling in my mind. And, I got to watch that video again at a friends computer and that refreshed some memories again. The concept of the video is so good that nobody can forget it. The band plays the whole song in a giant swing that is in a room and swings in full circles with the band playing the song. So, that swing remains in my memory forever.

Anybody who hasn't watched the video can youtube it and have fun.

That is how my brain started to like the heaviness in music, I guess. But, metallica's old records are way excellent compared to their new records. I think this happens to most of the bands. Can't pull out the rabbit outta hat all the time. . . .
